» fifty-two: week 46 «

Happy Thursday everyone! So I took the plunge today and bought that planner I talked about yesterday. I definitely do a unboxing once I get it! Let's get into today's fifty-two question. 

Week 46: What should you make time for everyday?

Okay bear with me while I get a little metaphysical on y'all. I honestly believe that you should make time for quiet meditation twice a day. Just like you have to brush your teeth twice a day, I think you should spend maybe 10-15 minutes quieting your mind. To just sit and be still, and to let yourself drift away is an amazing feeling. I try to meditate twice a day, once in the morning as part of my morning routine. Normally I meditate after I'm awake like when I know I won't fall back asleep. Like after I've checked my emails and social media, I try to take fifteen minutes and listen to some ambient music and just drift before I get started. Normally after my morning meditation I also get in the shower and imagine that the water pouring out the shower head is a liquid shield that protects me from negativity, but that's a whole nother story. At night after you get ready for bed, I meditate again. 15 minutes/ambient music and its the best solution for drifting off to sleep. Just try it.
